Dog and Pheasent is a friendly country pub and restaurant. We had a company Christmas party held in December every year here . We just love it! The atmosphere is great, friendly staff, food brilliant.The pub is pet friendly as well ,so feel free to have your companion with you.
This was a lovely pub....Great atmosphere, cosy, with soul, dog friendly and the food was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful cant recommend enough.
Cold outside, open door instant warmth from the fire and the staff. Seated by rhe fire despite it being very busy. Had food for nephews birthday. Food delicious, all staff friendly. Drinks delicious. Highly recommend. Dog friendly too which makes a pub .
Very nice interior, dog friendly, nice staff, they've got fireplaces all over, wine is not bad. The food is not that great. Overpriced, a bit too much salt, presentation is not great. Not coming back. But would recommend for someone who just wants to come there and chill with a drink by the fireplace.
Bog standard fare but definitely overpriced for what you get. Steak and ale pie too salty. They dont have mashed potatoes. Fish and chips acceptable, but nothing special. This is the kind of place you stop by when youre really hungry. This is not the kind of place you return to. There are far better pubs out there.
