Always a fascinating place to browse, thanks to Sue and her considered choice bof books. Don't forget the excellent and very reasonably priced secondhand sales upstairs where some superb titles and authors can often be found.The access stairs are narrow and steep but worth the climb.Oh, don't forget the bookshop's regular programme of visiting authors doing even g talks, at the shop or locally. We love this bookshop. A treasure trove of fabulous texts and helpful staff that will order anything in within 24 hours. They also run fabulous children's events in the holidays and charitable events supporting our local school etc. We are very fortunate to have this store in our high street.

Perhaps the single best thing about Haslemere? It is a privilege to have such a charming and friendly independent bookshop on the high street and at the centre of the community.-An exceptionally well curated selection of books (and swift ordering service if you cant find a specific title)-To a person the friendliest most knowledgable staff, people who seem to be born to work in such a shop.-Impressive selections of events, reading groups and signings.-Lovely little space for children to learn to love reading-Lovely warren of second hand books upstairs.-Witty and attractive window displays.-Engaging social media accounts.These are just some of the reasons this is at the heart of the community.
